Adult Bible Fellowships
One of the first places many people connect to Faith Church is through
Adult Bible Fellowships (ABF) on Sunday mornings. ABFs can help newcomers and
regular attendees alike take the next step in their involvement.
Offering a variety of options, ABFs either choose to study a topic or
passage of the Bible, or cover curriculum that help believers live the
Christian life. Several curriculums are covered in ABFs, including:
- Connections. We might call this class "Faith Church 101."
Designed to help newcomers plug into the various ministries and activities
at Faith Church, Connections also answers basic questions about the
church. Topics include what the church believes, how it's
governed and how to get involved. This is a great course for those
desiring to learn more about Faith Church and meet other people.
- Open Evangelism. As followers of Jesus, we've been given
a tremendous gift - salvation! But how do we communicate the reality
of our faith to those who don't understand God's love? In this
course, we get back to the basics of faith and learn how to share the
gospel with those around us. In this extremely practical class, we will
find ways to bridge conversations from talking of the mundane to talking
of the eternal.
- Network. Want to serve God but not sure what you're wired
to do? Each of us has been given talents and abilities by God in
order to serve those around us. However, sometimes uncertainty can
lead us to hesitate in stepping out for God. In this course, you'll identify
your spiritual gifts and learn how the local church - our church -
needs you to carry out the ministry.
