 Children's Ministry
At Faith Church, we love kids, and desire to nurture children into a
growing relationship with Jesus Christ! Sunday School for children birth
through sixth grade is available during both worship services. Teachers
select relevant and fun activities, games, songs and crafts, as well as
Bible lessons, that will appeal to children at their age levels.

Bible - filled with wisdom to help them understand life. We want kids to
be able to apply Biblical truth to their daily lives.

children can grow and learn in an encouraging atmosphere. We help children
build healthy relationships with their peers and teachers.
- Global-minded - Faith Church is serious about loving all people
in Jesus’ name! We’ve experienced true joy and fulfillment through a
relationship with God, and we desire that all people - whether here in
Indianapolis or halfway around the world - experience this same joy. We
want to nurture this same global perspective in children.
- FUN! - Kids are motivated to learn in a creative fun-filled
environment. We strive to make children's ministry at Faith Church FUN!
Security
We are very
serious about the privilege and responsibility of caring for children. We
thoroughly screen volunteers and provide parents with security tags for
young children in order to ensure their safety. Our nurseries and children's
classrooms are staffed by caring adults who are gifted in loving and
nurturing children. Their ministries serve families by enabling parents
to worship, knowing that their children are receiving the best possible
care.
Faith Kids Jr. (Age 2 - Kindergarten)
We're privileged to care for the youngest of Faith's
family on Sunday mornings during both services. Faith Kids Jr. volunteers
desire to help even the youngest children begin to understand God's deep
love for them, salvation through Jesus Christ, and an
attitude of obedience. Each part of the child's experience at church
is planned to teach God's truth. Even during our play times, teachers guide
conversations to link the activity to Biblical truths. Using songs, finger
plays, prayer, and Bible stories, each child is lovingly guided toward
character development and spiritual growth.
  
Faith Kids (Grades 1 - 6)
During both Sunday morning worship services, children in grades 1 - 6
also experience spiritual education (and have a lot of fun along the way!)
Age-appropriate Bible lessons with games and learning activities reinforce
the lesson or character quality being studied. Loving teachers encourage
kids to pray for personal needs and the needs of other people as part of
their classes. Children also are encouraged to memorize Bible verses
that relate to the lesson.
Other Children's Programs
Friends Club
- WHAT? Friends Club is a mid-week program at Faith Church
designed to help kids have fun, build relationships,
and learn to embrace Jesus as their very best friend! Each week kids
learn a Bible point that they can apply in their lives. Each aspect
of Friends Club stresses this “one-point” learning. Every activity - even
snack time - reinforces this one point. The goal is that kids will grasp
this point and live it out the following week.
- WHO? Friends Clubs is for boys and girls grades 1 - 6.
Children are in gender-specific groups geared toward their specific age
and skill level.
- WHERE? Friends Club is at Faith Church.
- WHEN? Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8:00 pm.
- COST: $25/child for the entire year! Cost includes club
materials and the various special events scheduled throughout the year

Children's Choir
The children’s choir practices in between the worship services, starting
at 10:20 each Sunday. In this 20-minute segment, kids are encouraged to
praise God with their voices! At Christmas, the children perform a musical
each year.
 Vacation Bible School
During the summer months, Vacation Bible School (VBS) brings Faiths Kids
together and provides a way for the church to reach out to our
community. Kids love to bring their friends for the week packed with
games, songs and crafts. The week is centered around a Biblical theme or
Character quality. Dozens of parents and other adult volunteers help
to make VBS one of our most successful children's events of the year.
