Women's Ministry

The women of Faith Church are committed to pursuing spiritual growth, service and friendship. Women’s Bible Studies, on Wednesday mornings or Tuesday evenings, exist to help women grow in their walks with God in the context of small groups. Other opportunities for growth include group or one-on-one mentoring, prayer groups, and periodic training workshops geared toward the needs of women.

Our goal is that the ministries of Women of Faith will encourage you to live your faith in Christ where you are! We hope that you will be motivated to seek after God, study His Word and grow in maturity so that you can live your faith in the community of Faith Church, and where you live.

Many women desire to form friendships with other Christian ladies, and Faith Church is a great place to get connected! Activities are designed to meet a variety of social needs. Women are also encouraged to discover and use their talents to serve within the church.

One of the highlights of our women’s ministry is the annual Women’s Retreat each September. The retreat is a chance for women to renew their relationship with God and with each other.

Women's Morning Bible Studies

Are you interested in studying God’s Word and making new friends? Join other women on Wednesday mornings (beginning September 5) from 9:30 - 11:00 am. Following a brief coffee time, we break into groups to study specific electives. Childcare is provided; donations accepted. Check out this Fall's Electives:

  • Attributes of God
Written and facilitated by Jacky Kenley
The group will focus on unique attributes of God mentioned in Scripture. Fall more in love with God as you read what He tells us about Himself.

  • Intimate Issues: Conversations Woman to Woman
by Linda Dillow and Lorraine Pintus, facilitated by Teri Swim
Together, we will read the book, Intimate Issues, and study the Bible using the authors’ Bible study guide (included with the book). We will read what Scripture has to say about God’s gift of sexuality and attempt to align our hearts with His.

  • Minor Prophets
Written and facilitated by Jan Cummer
Explore the minor prophets who send a major message, relevant to today’s society. Jan will offer insight and leadership as you read these great passages for yourself.

  • Discover John: The Word Became Flesh
by Brent and Diane Averill, facilitated by Mandy Schloneger
Come read, study, and enjoy this eye-witness account of Jesus’ life and ministry, as written by John, one of Jesus’ closest friends and disciples. The course will cover the first half of John’s gospel.
