Kim & Jan Cone
Mission:
Evangelical Free Church Mission
Location: Africa
Kim and Jan Cone serve with the Evangelical Free Church Mission in the
Central African Republic. They have three children. The
Cones are church-planters working among the Islamic, cattle-herding
Fulani people. Jan is engaged in translating literature into the Fulani
language and in visiting Fulani people at the hospital. She often
facilitates communication between the patients and the hospital staff.
Kim works primarily with the clan of the patriarch, Al Hadji Tambaya,
who has 140 grandchildren! Please pray that God would move in the
people’s hearts to follow Him and that He would give the Cones great
wisdom. Please also pray for their safety. Due to insecurity in the
country, the Cones are currently living on a Swedish-Baptist hospital
station right across the border from Cameroon. |

Jeff & Peg Shrum
Mission: Wycliffe
Location: Mozambique
Jeff & Peg Shrum serve with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Mozambique,
where they are working to develop a written language and Bible
translation for the Takwane people group. Jeff developed a burden for
seeing the Scriptures translated for those who did not have the Bible in
their own language while attending Faith Church. He met Peg as they were
both individually preparing to serve the Lord in Bible translation with
Wycliffe. They were married in 1994 and moved to Mozambique to begin
their ministry together two years later. The Shrums have one daughter,
Maggie Jo. |
