Bill & Lee Hall
Mission: Wycliffe
Location: Philippines
Bill & Lee Hall serve with Wycliffe Bible Translators in the
Philippines. After 32 years of working on Bible translation for the
Subanon tribe in their native language, the New Testament was completed
in 1996. Now the Halls teach translators how to work with pastors and
others in the task of translation. In recent years, they have also been
a part of overseeing the translation and voice-dubbing of Campus
Crusade’s JESUS Film in the Subanon language. Faith Church supported
this project with giving through the Lighthouse Project. Praise God for
the enthusiasm of the Subanon believers, who want more hymns and more
New Testaments in their language. |

Steve & Janet Kunnecke
Mission: SEND International
Location: Japan
Steve & Janet Kunnecke serve with SEND International in Japan. Steve is
the business manager, handling all the finances, salaries, housing and
property for the mission. Janet has taught evangelistic English classes,
discipled new Christians, and taught Bible classes. Currently, she is
the Personnel Coordinator for SEND Japan, helping to make sure
missionaries balance their ministry, spiritual and personal development.
The Kunneckes assist a small church, Seiseki Megumi (Grace) Church, led
by a tentmaking pastor. While attending Faith Church, Steve and Janet felt God’s call
to international ministry when a speaker discussed the need for business
administrators overseas. After a one-year seminary program, they began
serving with SEND in Japan. The Kunneckes have three grown children. |

Paul & Agnès Sanders
Mission: WorldVenture
Location: Lebanon
Paul and Agnès Sanders work with WorldVenture in Beirut, Lebanon. Paul
met Agnès while ministering in France when she was a medical student.
After marrying, they served in France for 25 years, helping to plant
three churches while Agnès served part-time as a physician. In 1996, the
Sanders responded to God’s call to relocate and live among the Lebanese
people. Paul now works at Arab Baptist Theological Seminary and Agnès
uses her medical skills to provide care to the poorest segment of
society in a local refugee settlement and in local women’s prisons. The
Sanders children, Matthieu, Anne (who is married to Isaac), and Lucile,
are all grown. |
