Steve and Nancy serve with SEND International in Kiev, Ukraine. Currently, Steve is also an area director for SEND, where he gives leadership and oversight to the more than 50 missionaries who are serving all over Ukraine with SEND. Together they participate at Hope Church (begun in 2000) where they started the preschool ministry (now in the hands of capable Ukrainians) and Steve continues as an elder. They still find time every so often to teach together "Teaching the Bible to Preschoolers" and to frequently welcome guests into their home. The Woodens have been part of Faith Church since 1978 and were involved in children’s ministry for many years. Nancy served eight years as the Faith Church Early Childhood Director and Steve served on the Missions Committee in addition to his ministry with children.
