Janet Balasiri
Mission: InterVarsity Christian Fellowship
Location: Indiana
Through Bible study, prayer, and short-term mission trips, Janet
encourages the Christ-followers on the Indiana University campus in
Bloomington to live lives of radical submission to God. She also leads
Bible studies with Christ-seekers to share an accurate portrayal of the
God of the Bible. Janet’s ministry at IU focuses on the possibility of
ethnic and racial unity within the community of Christ. Among other
things, Janet leads a weekly Bible study and takes students on summer
and spring break mission trips. Janet met Christ through Faith Church’s
student ministry several years ago. She attended a high school winter
ski trip and was introduced to a relationship with Jesus. |

Randy & Valerie Beaverson
Mission: Central Indiana Youth for Christ
Location: Indiana
Randy and Valerie have served with Youth for Christ (YFC) for nearly 20
years. Randy directed Campus Life programs in northern Indianapolis and
IPS schools, then served as Central Indiana YFC’s Executive Director. In
2001 the family moved to Alaska where Randy was the Director and Valerie
was the Nurse at Echo Ranch Bible Camp. Since returning to the
Indianapolis area in 2004, Randy has served as Northeast Area
Coordinator for Central Indiana YFC. Through the years, whether through
“small” things like individual time spent with kids and staff - or
“large” things like leadership of Billy Graham’s Indiana Crusade student
outreach, the Beaversons have relished seeing many young people find
eternal hope in a relationship with Christ. The Beaversons have two
children, Laura and Jonathan. |

Nils Becker & Sandy Davis-Becker
Mission: Campus Crusade for Christ/The Jesus Film Project
Location: Florida
Nils and Sandy serve with the JESUS film project in Orlando, Florida. They
recently moved from California to the Orlando headquarters. Nils is
currently transitioning out of his role as Partnership Coordinator for
the JESUS Film in order to concentrate on writing a book about the work
of Campus Crusade for Christ in Korea. The book will mostly target
National Directors and national staff members, and will strive to
encourage them through what God has done through Dr. Joon Gon Kim in
Korea. Nils hopes to have the book finished and ready for distribution
in 2007. Sandy continues as the Biblical Advisor for the JESUS Film
Project. |

Mission:
Campus Crusade for Christ
Location: Indiana
Ann is the International Campus Staff Coordinator for the Great Lakes
Region of Campus Crusade for Christ. Her passion is to equip, train,
mentor, and encourage Campus Crusade Staff members and students who
serve God all around the world in cross-cultural ministries. Currently,
she oversees and shepherds 60 staff members sent from the Great Lakes to
partnership locations in Albania, Macedonia, New Zealand, Italy, the
Middle East and East Asia. Ann also serves nationally as the Facilitator
of the International Campus Staff Leadership Team, a group of 10 leaders
from around the country who give overall direction to the shepherding
and care of Campus Staff serving internationally. Ann and her husband,
Ed, are members of Faith Church. |

David & Karen Bradley
Mission: Campus Crusade for Christ/The Jesus Film Project
Location: Florida
The Bradleys serve with the JESUS Film Project in Orlando, Florida. As
the Regional Manager for Europe, David supervises the development of
JESUS Films (Classic and Children’s versions) and The Story of Jesus
(Audio and Radio), and any additional related products for the languages
of Europe and Russia. This involves ongoing communication and
coordination with resource people in Europe and Russia, and regular
travel to various locations in the region. The Bradleys were members of
Faith Church until they sensed God’s call to missions through a mission
trip to Costa Rica. They have four children, Benjamin, Jacob, Kathryn
and Levi. |

Mark & Charlene Canada
Mission: SEND International
Location: Indiana
Mark & Charlene Canada are missionary appointees with SEND International
to Russia. About ten years ago, God started nudging the Canadas toward
full-time missions work and they began to proactively move in that
direction with some lifestyle changes and intentional training. During
the last 10 years they focused heavily on developing and leading a
ministry to specifically and personally care for the missionaries of
Faith Church. Building upon this experience, they are being sent by SEND
to serve as missionary care facilitators for SEND missionaries in Russia
and the former Soviet Union. Mark and Charlene expect to move to Russia
in the fall of 2008 for initial language learning with an eventual
residence in Moscow. |

Lee & Pam Christenson
Mission: Pioneers
Location: Indiana
Lee and Pam began attending Faith Church in 1984. They quickly gained a
heart for Missions through Faith’s focus on Global Outreach. While
helping Faith Church with several aspects of our global outreach, they
began to understand the need for workers to help churches form strategic
missions initiatives. Soon
after, God led Lee out of the business world in order to serve as Church
Missions Consultants. Currently, the Christensons serve with
Pioneers focusing on
providing resources and consulting to help American churches develop an
effective, customized missions program. |

John & Debbie Clifton
Mission: Wycliffe
Location: Illinois
The Cliftons have served the Lord as Wycliffe Bible Translators all
around the world, including Papua New Guinea and St. Petersburg, Russia.
They understand the translation process first hand after having assisted
in Bible translation, literacy training, and linguistic and
anthropological support. Now based in Chicago, John's primary job is to
coordinate needs assessment in Russia and Central Asia. Working with a
team, he determines where new work needs to be started, and what is
needed. He also assists teams working on alphabet and spelling systems
in the region. Debbie is the Guest House Manager at the Wycliffe office
in West Chicago. During the summer, both John and Debbie are involved in
training young people interested in language work and Bible translation
at the SIL training courses at the University of North Dakota. |

Art & Lois Deyo
Mission: Youth for Christ International
Location: Colorado
Art & Lois Deyo work with Youth for Christ (YFC) International. Art has
been on staff with YFC for 41 years. Art and Lois were members of Faith
Church several years ago when Art served as the Regional Field Director
for Indiana. Art and Lois are the Directors of Missionary Development
for YFC. Their purpose is to evaluate and coach YFC American
missionaries to become more effective in ministry, more productive in
support-raising, and more authentic in personal relationships. They are
responsible for 50+ missionary families and individuals in 23 countries.
They help missionaries with pre-field preparation such as Candidate
School, funding, and training. They travel to see missionaries who have
been on the field two years or longer to observe their ministry and
advise them on how to improve it. They assist all missionaries with
their goals, their official credentialing, and their career path.
Seeking to encourage the missionaries, they also help address spiritual
issues such as loneliness, spiritual dryness, and relationship problems. |

Don & JoAnne Fields
Mission: InterVarsity Christian Fellowship
Location: Indiana
Don & JoAnne Fields have served with InterVarsity Christian
Fellowship (IVCF) since 1963. They work to evangelize college students
and equip them to reach their world for Jesus! In 2001, Don became the
Specialist in Training for InterVarsity in Indiana. Although he had
supervised the work of IVCF in Indiana for over 30 years, he is now
involved in training new staff, pastoring older staff and training
student leaders on several campuses. His wife, JoAnne, although not on
staff directly, pastors a number of the women staff as well. The
Fields have been active at Faith Church since the very beginning. Don
has served as an Elder, they’ve both taught in various capacities. |

Bob & Belva Foster
Mission: SIM
Location: North Carolina
Bob & Belva are Special Representatives with Serving in Mission (SIM).
Although stationed in the U.S., they travel frequently to Africa to
assist with projects there. The Fosters have given their entire lives to
serving the people of Africa. From 1950 - 1981 they lived and worked in
Zambia and Angola. As a surgeon, Bob was responsible for establishing
three mission hospitals and was involved in evangelism and Bible
teaching. From 1981 - 1989 he served as the International Director of
Africa Evangelical Fellowship. Under his leadership, the organization
sent missionaries to four new countries: Gabon, Mozambique, Madagascar,
and Tanzania. Since the completion of his term as Director, Bob now
serves as the Special Representative of the International Office in both
the US and Africa. His speaking ministry takes him all over the world,
which has been a powerful way to recruit others to serve God around the
globe. |

Steve & Kris Groome
Mission: Child Evangelism Fellowship International
Location: Florida
The Groomes serve the Lord with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) as the
regional directors for the North America/Caribbean region. They oversee
the CEF ministry in Canada, the USA and the 26 Dutch, French and English
speaking countries in the Caribbean. Their ministry includes direct
evangelism and discipleship of children and teacher training. They also
work to open new CEF works in countries where there is currently no CEF
presence, and maintain and develop national workers and missionaries who
serve with CEF in this region. Based in Florida, they travel
extensively, training leaders in their region. The Groomes began
attending Faith Church in 1979, and Steve placed his faith in Jesus
Christ. Soon, they sensed a call to serve the Lord overseas. In 1991
they moved to England where they served as the directors of CEF in
London, helping adults minister effectively to children. |

Dan & Agusta Harting

Families Against Cults
Location: Indiana
Dan & Agusta Harting work with Families Against Cults in Indiana. Since
1982 the Hartings, former Mormons, have been active in Christian
outreach to people lost in cults and the occult. Since their conversion
to Christianity, Dan & Agusta have spoken in hundreds of churches in the
U.S. and overseas, as well as on secular college campuses, Christian
school campuses, TV shows and radio programs. |

Ruth Hubbard
Mission: Wycliffe
Location: Florida
Ruth Hubbard serves God with Wycliffe USA in Orlando, Florida.
Wycliffe is passionate about the glory of God through the translation of
His Word for all the peoples of the earth in the language they
understand best. These people, like all of us, need God’s Word for
spiritual understanding, evangelism, discipleship and church planting.
Ruth began with Wycliffe’s Communications department in 2002, first as a
designer and then as the Director of Integrated Marketing and Vice
President for Communications. Currently, Ruth's leadership portfolio
includes marketing, public relations, community & government relations
and diversity as she continues to serve with the senior leadership of
the organization in her role as Senior Vice President. Before joining
Wycliffe, Ruth served as the Director of Children’s Ministry at Faith
Church for several years. During this time, she was encouraged to pursue
using her unique gifts and passions in global ministry. |

John & Kristen King
Mission: SEND International
Location: Illinois
The Kings are preparing to serve God with SEND International in Kiev,
Ukraine. They currently are living in Illinois where John is studying at
Trinity Evangelical Divinity School to get his Master's of Divinity.
They hope to be ready to move to Kiev in late 2008, where John plans to
teach at Kiev Theological Seminary.

Doug & Darla Leatherman
Mission:
Campus Crusade for Christ
Location: Indiana
Doug and Darla reach out to college students for Christ in the Great
Lakes Region of Campus Crusade for Christ. Doug leads a team that plans
conferences and events for both students and staff in order to better
equip them for ministry on the university campus. In addition, Doug
works with varsity athletes at Butler University in Indianapolis.
Speaking to teams, discipling athletes and leading an all-athlete Bible
study have been highlights since 1996 when the Leathermans moved to
Indianapolis. Darla is the H.R. Mom's Associate for our region,
overseeing a team of 6 moms helping our 70+ moms stay connected to
ministry. The Leathermans have two children, Caitlyn,
and Jerod. They are members of Faith Church. |

Larry & Debbie Lee
Mission: InterVarsity Christian Fellowship
Location: Florida
The Lees serve with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship in Indiana. Larry
came to Christ through the ministry of Faith Church, and he and his wife
were active church leaders for several years. From 1978 – 1996, Larry
supervised and developed campus workers for InterVarsity in Southeastern
Indiana. In 1997 the Lees began a new ministry to international students
at Indiana State University. Now living back in Indiana, the Lees are
continuing with student ministry by developing friendships with
international students as well as doing some fundraising work for
InterVarsity. |

Tom & Julie Meiner
Mission: Campus Crusade for Christ/The Jesus Film Project
Location: Florida
Serving with Campus Crusade for Christ (CCC) in Florida, Tom Meiner is a
point of contact for various organizations concerning the JESUS Film
Project. These partnerships help implement the expanded use of the film
around the world. Tom came to know Christ through the ministry of Faith
Church, where he and Julie were active members for 14 years before they
felt God’s call to work with CCC. The Meiners have three children, Ben,
Elise and Rachel. |

Tom & Kristi Miller
Mission: Campus Crusade for Christ/GAiN USA
Mission: Texas
Since the early 1970s, Tom and Kristi Miller have served with Campus
Crusade for Christ (CCC). They spent 20 years with Student Venture,
CCC’s high school ministry, including 13 years in Indianapolis and two
years in Budapest, Hungary. Tom and Kristi currently serve with CCC’s
international humanitarian aid ministry called Global Aid Network (GAiN),
which is based in the Dallas, Texas area. GAiN demonstrates the love of
God in word and deed to provide hope for needy people around the world
through relief and development projects. Often, this relief opens up
doors for local churches to share the gospel. Tom’s specific roles with
GAiN include coordinating its volunteer staff activities around the USA,
recruiting new staff, overseeing ministry partner development, and
periodically traveling overseas. Kristi is involved teaching English as
a Second Language through a local church, and both Tom and Kristi
volunteer with Student Venture. The Millers have four children: Jon,
Steve, Leaza, and Scott. |

Terry & Shirley Morrison
Mission: InterVarsity Christian Fellowship
Location: Wisconsin
The Morrisons were very involved in the ministry of Faith Church while
Terry was a chemistry professor at Butler University in Indianapolis.
There he established the InterVarsity chapter. Since 1974, the Morrisons
have served with InterVarsity full-time. They have worked with faculty
members at colleges and universities nationwide to encourage them to be
“salt and light” on their campuses. Terry is now Director Emeritus of
Faculty Ministries and travels to various parts of the country to speak
at conferences, and to faculty groups and to counsel individual
professors. He also works with graduate students and with the Leadership
team of InterVarsity’s Faculty Ministry. |

Dick & Sue Price
Mission: Christian Military Fellowship
Location: North Carolina
Dick and Sue Price minister to military personnel in North Carolina with
Christian Military Fellowship. Whether helping with marital
difficulties, financial stress, spousal abuse, legal complications, Post
Traumatic Stress Disorder or other needs, Dick and Sue give support to
military men and women and their families. The Prices support Vietnam
veterans, counsel military personnel returning home from the Middle
East, and offer support to military families separated from loved ones
during tours of duty. Often in crisis situations, the Prices desire to
show individuals how God’s Word gives hope and direction, even in
desperate circumstances. |

Mark & Dawn Slaughter
Mission:
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship
Location: Indiana
In 1989 Mark Slaughter joined InterVarsity as an Evangelism Specialist,
and has been with the organization ever since. His main ministry is
evangelistic speaking, leading college students in worship, and training
students and staff in evangelism on their campuses. His gifts are used
in communicating the gospel in an understandable and relevant manner.
Mark also assists in developing training curriculum for defense of the
Christian faith. Mark and Dawn have two children, Matt and Rebecca. |

Ron & Sharon Stoltzfus
Mission: Wycliffe
Location: Mexico
Ron and Sharon serve with Wycliffe Bible Translators. Since 1976, they
have worked with the Huarijio people located in northern Mexico. They
travel back and forth to Mexico from their home in Arizona. The Huarijio
New Testament and other teaching materials are almost complete! Ron
began serving with Wycliffe in 1963 following his linguistics training.
For about nine years, Ron worked in the Mexico Branch Survey Department
where the goal was to determine where translation projects were needed
before starting translation work with the Huarijio. |

Jim & Beth Tebbe
Mission:
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship
Location: Wisconsin
Jim and Beth work with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship where Jim is
the Vice President for Missions. He is the Director for Urbana,
InterVarsity’s large student mission convention that draws more than
20,000 college students. He also supervises Global Projects, which sends
700 students and 120 staff members on short-term mission trips each
year, Urban Projects, which utilizes 1200 students and 50 staff
ministering in the inner cities of America, and Link, a longer-term
mission initiative. Recently, Jim was appointed as the North American
Liaison for the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students. In
this role he represents the US and Canada. Beth also works for
InterVarsity in the Training Department doing reviews with staff that
are changing positions, as well as special projects and prayer ministry. |

Bill & Thelly Thomas
Mission:
Campus Crusade for Christ
Location: Florida
Serving with Campus Crusade for Christ (CCC) in Orlando, Florida, Bill
and Thelly Thomas are presently involved in the sending of U.S.
missionaries internationally and helping in their care and development.
Bill directs the U.S. International Human Resources department and
Thelly is the administrative assistant of the same department. They are
involved not only in sending missionaries but also in their pre-field
orientation, their care while on the field, and care for missionary
kids. Bill joined Campus Crusade in 1970, and Thelly in 1968. They met
in Thelly’s native Philippines while both working with Campus Crusade,
and were married in 1981. Bill and Thelly served as regional leaders in
the Philippines until 1997 when they moved to the CCC headquarters in
Orlando and their current ministry. They have two grown children, Janna
and Jonathan. |

Louie & Lisa Winternheimer
Mission: Raphael Health Center
Location: Indiana
After serving for years as a family practice physician in the inner-city
of Chicago, the Winternheimers moved to Indianapolis where Louis is now
serving at the Raphael Health Center. The Center provides
community-based, culturally sensitive, full-service health care to all
people, regardless of income or insurance coverage in a Christian
environment of respect and dignity. |
