True WorshipAt Faith Church, we seek to live a lifestyle of worship that brings honor to our God. We are created to be worshipers, and we have a choice as to whom or what we worship. Our desire is to grow in passion and knowledge of what a true worshiper looks like; for our God is seeking such people. Worship is not just something we do on Sunday morning, but it goes beyond that into our daily lives: our job sites, our home, our neighborhood, our community and our world. Jesus said that true worshipers worship both in "spirit and in truth." Our worship leaders are passionate about engaging the hearts (spirit) and the minds (truth) of our congregation to worship the one true God. Worship at Faith Church happens as we honor God in everything we do. However, a special time of corporate praise occurs every Sunday morning in two distinct services with two styles of musical taste. Traditional WorshipTraditional (9:00 am) worship embraces time-honored hymns and incorporates a variety of instruments into celebrations. The Faith Choir, which ministers during the school year, meets Wednesday evenings for rehearsal. Directed by Molly Allison, the choir is open to all adults ages high school and above. The orchestra and handbell choir also perform periodically. Contemporary WorshipContemporary (10:45 am) worship brings together a band to lead upbeat praise of our great God through both exuberant and reflective moments of worship. Made up of guitars, keyboards, drums, vocalists, and several other instruments, the worship band rehearses on Tuesday evenings. For more information about auditions and openings in the worship band, contact the director of Contemporary Worship, Jake Brothers. (848-1541 x221)
