A Place to Experience God

Each of us has an internal restlessness, an inconsolable longing within. We try to satisfy this longing in many ways - recreation, business accomplishments, wealth, works of creativity, sexual exploits, human relationships and more. Yet, after the experience fades, the longing remains.

At Faith Church, we believe that this very basic human longing for beauty, wonder and delight can indeed be satisfied in the reality of a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. In fact, we believe that as we learn to delight ourselves in God, we experience a fulfillment and joy that sustains us, even through the difficulties of life. Faith Church is a place to come to know God in a deeply profound way, to experience the joy we were created to know in God, and to be beacons of light to those who are still mired in restless longing.

A Place to Belong

Do you long to be a member of a community where you both care for people and are loved for who you are? Though never perfect, the people of Faith Church strive to be a community where deep, loving relationships can grow. From infancy through old age, we believe that intentional relational vulnerability is a mark of true followers of Jesus.

A Place to Learn

We believe that God has revealed Himself to us in His Word, the Bible. In its pages, we find wisdom for life. We believe that God meant for His Word to be clearly understood and practiced. Because of this bedrock belief, we celebrate the teaching of the Bible to all ages. Our loving early childhood teachers seek to instill in our youngest children the principles of God’s Word. Our Sunday morning celebrations center around the Bible and its truths. Various groups and ministries seek to apply the Bible to daily life. Everyone - from the young student through the retiree - is encouraged to grapple with passages from the Bible to determine God’s message. God’s Word challenges people of all ages and levels of spiritual maturity to a higher level of commitment and joy in God.

A Place to Catch a Vision

As followers of Christ who have experienced the tremendous joy and satisfaction of knowing God, we are committed to sharing Jesus’ message of forgiveness with all peoples of the world. We desire to be a source of light for those stranded in the darkness of sin, poverty, addiction and despair, whether in Indianapolis or in the most remote corner of the earth. Through involvement with Faith Church, many have been stirred to joyfully give their lives in full-time service to God. As the people of Faith Church will attest, our greatest joy as a church is watching this process and supporting people here and around the world as they spread the love of God.
